When I started channeling, I did not have anyone who could explain to me what was going on. I thought I was going crazy, although I knew I wasn’t. I thought I was making it up, but the truth and love I was channeling was undeniable. At times, this journey has been very difficult. I created a lot of stress and overwhelm for myself by doubting myself, holding back, and going into fear. It is my intention that your journey is easier, easier, more harmonious, and much more fun than mine was in the beginning. This book contains the information I wish I had possessed when I began my channeling journey so many years ago. It will guide you through the best practices that I have discovered, from my first conscious experience of communicating with higher wisdom in 1999 to my current professional career of channeling The Council for thousands of people all over the world. Anyone can do this. It is not a power that only a few have; it is a natural and inherent ability that we never intended to forget.

You Are a Channel also includes experiential processes and visualizations to assist you in opening and developing your own connection to infinite intelligence. Designed specifically for this book, you will also receive uplifting channeled messages from The Council to activate your true power and elevate your awareness. Some years ago, I was inspired to begin teaching others how to communicate with higher levels of consciousness. To date, I have taught more than 5,000 people around the world how to channel. In this book, I will also share with you the inspiring stories of many of my students and their extraordinary experiences when learning to channel. You are a channel; that’s not a question. You all are a conduit, a vessel, a channel for divine love and divine light in the world. Everyone expresses this uniquely and differently. And everyone’s journey is unique and different. Once you have established your connection to Source Energy, a whole new and amazing world will begin to present itself to you, allowing you to discover your unique gifts, abilities, and talents. Your soul and your guides are inviting you to play in new realms of pure potential where higher wisdom is available to everyone. You might just meet your favorite Ascended Master or Archangel, only to realize they have been eagerly waiting to guide you and assist you on this magnificent adventure. Trust the process, be gentle on yourself, and have fun with this! Everyone has an innate inherent ability to connect into higher consciousness, infinite potential, and Source Energy. This book is intended to guide you to remember a gift that is already within you, an ability ability that we all have but might have just forgotten. I believe now more than ever, your light and love are needed in the world.

GIVING PERMISSION

This sacred moment is between you and your heart, your soul, and your connection to Source. Take some deep breaths and go within to the truth of you. If it feels good, put your hand on your heart. Go within to the place in your heart, to the place in your being where you are safe, where you are whole and complete, where you are so loved. Everything is perfect in this moment. Become centered in this moment. Breathe yourself into a place of stillness and then create a sacred space within you and around you. Hold this sacred space for yourself in this moment.

As you feel into the sacred space in this moment, ask yourself, “Are you ready to fully give permission for your channel to come through? Are you really ready to fully give permission for your channel to come true? Are you really ready to give permission?” As you ask this question, just allow anything that comes up and anything that you feel, surround it with love, surround it with care and comfort.

Don’t judge it. Just observe it and keep asking if you’re really fully ready to open to Source, to open to higher wisdom, to open to divine intelligence. You may need to check in with that little girl or that little boy within you. You might need to reassure them that they are safe, that it’s safe for them to do this.

Tune in to that little girl or that little boy and let her or him know that it is safe to fully open up and to play with your connection, and to rejoice in your connection, and to open fully and be who you are. You may need to bring into your awareness aspects of you and prior experiences of this life, or others. Reassure those parts of you that you are safe, that you are guided and protected and loved, that you are cared for.

It’s okay to let go. It’s okay to fully give permission for your channel to come through. Just check in with every part of you and bring every part of you into this moment. Shine the love and the light on every part of you. Reassure every part of you that you are safe, that you are loved, that you have been drawn into this moment at just the perfect time because it’s time to fully allow. If you feel any resistance, just breathe into it with love and assure yourself that you can always come into the consciousness and the power of the moment, and that you are safe. Are you ready to fully give your channel permission to come through? Are you ready?

Invite in the most beautiful relationship with you and be who you really are. Allow the power within you and the love within you and the light within you. Are you fully ready? Continue to breathe in the love that is here for you. Continue to breathe in the light. If you feel any resistance, just breathe in the light. Surround yourself with light and love. Reassure every part of you that there is only love. There is only love. Now move your body into the feeling of openness and allowing, fully giving permission for your channel to come through. If it feels good to you, open your arms and allow, let go, fully allow, open up.

Just notice how your body feels, and notice the sensation you’re feeling. Notice any emotion that comes up. It’s perfect. Just take a couple more deep breaths and continue to give permission, continue to allow, continue to open, knowing this will always continue to expand and go deeper. In this moment, you’re allowing. Now, take a couple of deep breaths. You can put your arms down if it feels good, or you can keep them there if it feels good. If you feel any sort of blocks, just continue to tune in to this energy. There is nothing blocking you. It’s okay to take a little time with this process.

Whatever comes up, give it to the light. You may need to consciously, lovingly, tend to the little girl or little boy within you over the next few days or weeks, or any aspect of you that needs a little more time before it gives permission. For those of you who are here and now and ready, just continue to focus on being open and allowing. Take a deep breath and go even deeper into this moment. Imagine that there’s a bright, beautiful light shining down upon you as bright and beautiful and powerful as the sun right there above you. As you take some deep breaths, breathe yourself into that light.

Take all the time you need to navigate any fears or feelings that arise for you. If something comes up, be gentle with yourself, be kind to yourself. It’s okay. Don’t judge your human or that little girl or boy within you. It’s natural for your fears to come up when you consciously and intentionally focus your attention on fully giving permission for your channel to come through.

The process of fully allowing and giving permission may take some time. When you are ready, fully give permission to your channel, angels, and guides to come through. Your angels and guides will hear you and receive the message. There is no right or wrong way once you are fully ready to give permission for your channel to come through. Some people like to create a sacred place and ceremonial moment of fully giving permission. Others experience a knowing, and simply give their permission by saying in their head, “I’m ready and fully give permission.”

You are a sovereign, divine being here in an experience of free will. Your permission to your angels and guides is an important part of the process of fully opening your channel. Allow all the time you need for this step of the process. It just might be the first time in your life that you actually give yourself permission to truly, authentically be all that you are. Then, be prepared for more love, freedom, joy, and fulfillment to come into your life!

A MESSAGE FROM THE COUNCIL ON CHANNELING

We are so pleased and delighted to have the opportunity to speak with you on this fine and glorious day indeed. You are everything you wish to be; you already are. You are a vessel and conduit of Source Energy and divine love and truth in the world. You are a channel of infinite intelligence, infinite love, infinite well-being, and infinite abundance. You are either cutting off your channel, slowing it down, limiting divine love, or you are opening and expanding it, and fully allowing it, which is what you intended as the extension of Source Energy that is you when you focused yourself into this human experience. What you call channeling—discovering the channel that you already are—it’s about consciously, intentionally opening and allowing all that is here for you and available for you in every moment.

You have this. You are this. You can do this. You can have it all in your life. When you say I want to have it all, what you’re really saying is, “I want to fully open my channel to the infinite love and infinite well-being and infinite abundance and infinite intelligence that is the divine inherent birthright that I knew I had when I chose to come into this magnificent life experience.” You just learned to limit it or doubt it or deny it or not trust all that is here for you.

Go outside and find something beautiful, or go pet your dog or your cat, or be with your family and intentionally, consciously feel the love and the beauty and the appreciation. If you are looking at a beautiful flower, really focus on that flower. Then open and allow Source to see that beautiful flower through your eyes, to smell that beautiful flower through your nose. As you’re gazing upon someone you love, open and allow all of Source to feel the love that you’re feeling, and you will begin to open your channel and your awareness.

Trust your channel, and you learn to allow it in a way that you can tune in to this connection to Source at any time and expand it. It becomes your way of being and how you live your life. You will notice that gifts, abilities, and talents begin to present themselves to you.

You have known that there was more to you. You have known that you had a greater calling or higher potential, even if you did not know what it was. In opening fully and allowing the Source Energy that is always available to you, you will begin to channel to you all that is you!

We in higher levels of consciousness have never been separate from you. However, you have free will. That is how powerful you are. You can doubt your connection and deny it if it is your choosing, but we think once you fully experience it for yourself, you will know that it is who you really are and how you intended your life to be.

You are everything you wish to be. You already are. It is all within you and it always has been. Come into embodying the enlightened master of you that you are so that you can live fully and love fully and be all that you are on the planet at this time. That is the most important thing. We are always with you. We are always available to you. We love you, we love you, we love you. And with that, we are complete.
